 Have you ever flown to America? Today, we're asking you to travel in your mind and imagine yourself at the counter of an American coffee shop, surrounded by the aroma of coffee and the hum of espresso machines. It's in this setting that we at Ambrodesign had the opportunity to interview Jake, co-owner of "Jacob Alejandro – Coffee Culture" based in Troy, New York, who shared his experience with our espresso tools Pro-Fondi® EVO.

"Alejandro and I always dreamed of starting our own coffee business, and when we met, we decided to launch a venture, opening our shop in December 2020. Alejandro is from Guatemala, where he trained over 300 baristas, while I gained experience in pastry and hospitality at the Culinary Institute of America. Two and a half years later, our success allowed us to open a second location in Albany, for which we immediately purchased a second Pro-Fondi® EVO unit."

How did you learn about the Pro-Fondi® EVO electric coffee grounds cleaning?

 We were in Spain, walking through the streets of Barcelona, when we noticed the Pro-Fondi® EVO portafilter brush in the windows of a small coffee shop, and it immediately caught our attention. We were too curious to understand what this unknown technology installed next to the coffee machine was and how it worked, so we entered the shop under the pretext of having a coffee, and started watching this surprising coffee equipment in action. "It was love at first sight."

The automatic activation with a sensor and the speed of cleaning the portafilter were the first things that struck us about the automatic portafilter cleaner: the groups were completely clean in less than two seconds. "Would you believe me if I told you that Alejandro and I didn't even talk to each other while having that coffee because we were too busy watching how your portafilter cleaner machine worked?" Jake tells us between laughs.

What features do you appreciate most about the device?

 "For Alejandro and me, hygiene and cleanliness in bar are crucial; we immediately noticed the increased cleanliness that your innovative instant coffee filter cleaning system could ensure at our bar." In short, we absolutely had to have Pro-Fondi® EVO in our shop, Jake continues.

Have you had to replace any components of the Pro-Fondi® EVO?

 If so, what was your experience? We had to replace the motor unit with casing and wiring twice. We were in a rush and turned to your customer service. Through the online shop on the website, we ordered the necessary Pro-Fondi replacement spare parts, selecting it from the various available components. "Being in the United States, traditional espresso coffee machine suppliers often don't have the needed Pro-Fondi spare parts in stock." Thanks to the efficient and fast post-sales service, we were able to resume operations quickly.
